I discovered this at a time when our church has recently formed a Making Disciples Task Force. I have already passed this information along to others in our congregation. To me it was absolutely excellent and I will continue to spread the word on this resource.

From an initial walk-through, I believe the Church Council Training course will be of real value to the leadership of our church. It is particularly timely as our church embarks of a re-visioning project we refer to as "The Path Forward." That path will lead us to a new vision statement, a discipleship process, and perhaps some organization changes as we sharpen our focus on the mission of the church.
The course is timely also in that we are re-visiting the discipleship process within the church. Coupled with the Discipleship Workshops, the course will provide meaningful guidance as we proceed on "The Path Forward."
Thank you for adding this course to the learning resources of the Conference.
