Strengthening Small Membership Congregations

This project was undertaken to find the resources and effective ways for small membership congregations to become vital, effective and fruitful.
This material will also show that change must happen beginning with an "attitude adjustment" and leaving old ways behind and learning new ways of "being the church". The information and thinking for this material is based on the Call to Ministry that every church must follow that of Making Disciples for Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World.
This material will not make you satisfied with continuing with the "status quo" but will move you out of some comfort zones so that you can see the potential that God has placed within your congregation and the call that He has placed on you.
This will not give your church a complete "how to grow your church in a certain number of steps". This is written to be the beginning of an awareness for the need to be a vital, fruitful congregation. There are resource suggestions that will lead you to more resources. The pastor and church leadership must be the role models of transformation for a church to gradually become what God has called you to be.
